Does anybody get jobs?

I am not impressed with the results till sofar, 1 vague email, and thats it. I got the impression Kevin and Nate are more busy with Proz.com in stead of promoting their own creation.

Hence my question.

I got one job in February from a direct client. It was a nice, fairly big project that earned me some good money, technical skills (I used a localisation tool, which was completely new to me).
I guess you just need to be lucky.

I am new to both TM-Town and Proz.com, so I am interested to hear what luck others have had landing translation jobs on either platform.
