Reykjavík is the capital and largest city of Iceland and with an urban area population of around 200,000, it is the home of the vast majority of Iceland's inhabitants.	Reykjavík Izland fővárosa és egyben legnagyobb városa – lakossága 200 000 fő, így ez a város ad otthont az izlandiak nagy részének.
It is the centre of culture and life of the Icelandic people as well as being one of the focal points of tourism in Iceland.	Az izlandi kultúra és élet központjaként szolgál, és egyben az izlandi turizmus egyik fő úticélja is.
The city itself is spread out, with sprawling suburbs.	A város nagy területen helyezkedik el, messzire elnyúló külvárosi részekkel.
The city centre, however, is a very small area characterized by eclectic and colorful houses, with good shopping, dining, and drinking.	A városközpont azonban igen kicsi részre korlátozódik, itt eklektikus színes házak, illetve vonzó vásárlási lehetőségek, éttermek és bárok várják a látogatókat.
There is no need to tip anyone, despite all too many restaurants and shops having tip jars besides their cash register.	Bár rengeteg étterem és üzlet a pénztárnál kitesz egy üveget a borravalónak, nem fontos borravalót adni.
