A lecture (from the French 'lecture', meaning 'reading' [process]) is an oral presentation intended to present information or teach people about a particular subject, for example by a university or college teacher.	كما جاء في "محاضرة اللغة الفرنسية والتي تعني عملية القراءة" فإن محاضرة تعني تقديم شفوي ينوى عرض معلومات او تعليم أشخاص عن موضوع محدد على سبيل المثال من محاضر جامعي.
Lectures are used to convey critical information, history, background, theories, and equations.	المحاضرات هي الوسيلة المستخدمة لتوصيل المعلومات المهة والتاريخ والمرجعيات والنظريات والمعادلات.
A politician's speech, a minister's sermon, or even a businessman's sales presentation may be similar in form to a lecture.	إنّ خطاب لأحد السياسيين أو الوزراء أو حتى عرض تقديمي لرجل أعمال في مجال المبيعات يشبه المحاضرة بشكل كبير.
