Tendo presente a preocupação de favorecer situações de comunicação quotidianas que ocorrem dentro e fora da sala de aula e que correspondessem aos interesses, às necessidades de aprendizagem e às experiências dos alunos, concebi sequências de aprendizagem assentes nos princípios comunicativos do ensino da língua e numa metodologia baseada em tarefas.	Taking into consideration the importance of recreating day-to-day communication within the classroom in order to meet the interests, learning needs and experience of students, I have conceived learning sequences that draw on communicative language teaching and task-based learning principles.
A partir da análise e da reflexão da prática levada a cabo, procuro demonstrar como o recurso às tarefas contribuiu para que a sala de aula se convertesse num espaço social e interpessoal em que os alunos se envolveram em situações autênticas de negociação de sentido.	Based on the analysis and reflection of the teaching practice accomplished, I intend to demonstrate how the use of tasks contributed to the development of a social and interpersonal opportunity in the classroom, in which learners engaged in authentic negotiation of meaning.
O presente Relatório Científico debruça-se sobre as respeitantes opções metodológicas e em que medida estas promoveram uma aprendizagem significativa, favoreceram a aquisição de saberes e o desenvolvimento de competências em língua estrangeira e, consequentemente, melhoraram a competência comunicativa dos discentes.	This Scientific Report rests on the related methodological options and how these promoted meaningful learning, contributed to knowledge acquisition and the development of foreign language skills and, thus, improved the communicative competence of learners.
