A trade-mark is a distinctive sign of some kind which is used by a business to identify itself and its products and services to consumers, and to set the business and its products or services apart from those of other businesses.	Una marca comercial es un signo distintivo de algún tipo que utilizan las empresas para identificarse, así como para identificar los productos y servicios que brindan a sus clientes y distinguirlos de los del resto de las empresas.
Conventionally, a trade-mark comprises a name, word, phrase, logo, symbol, design, image, characters, logo, a domain name, a colour applied to a surface or a combination of one or more of these elements.	Normalmente, una marca comercial comprende un nombre, una palabra, una expresión, un logotipo, un símbolo, un diseño, una imagen, personajes, un nombre de dominio, un color aplicado a una superficie, o una combinación de varios de estos elementos.
