In this chapter, capacitors and inductors will be introduced (without considering the effects of AC current.) The big thing to understand about Capacitors and Inductors in DC Circuits is that they have a transient (temporary) response.	En este capítulo presentaremos a los capacitores e inductores (sin considerar los efectos de la corriente alterna). Lo más importante que debemos comprender acerca de los capacitores e inductores en circuitos de corriente continua, es que éstos poseen una repuesta transitoria (temporal).
During the transient period, capacitors build up charge and stop the flow of current (eventually acting like infinite resistors.) Inductors build up energy in the form of magnetic fields, and become more conductive.	Durante el periodo transitorio, los capacitores acumulan carga e impiden la circulación de la corriente (actuando a la larga como una resistencia infinita). Los inductores acumulan carga en forma de campos magnéticos, y se vuelven más conductores.
In other words, in the steady-state (long term behavior), capacitors become open circuits and inductors become short circuits.	En otras palabras, en condiciones estacionarias (comportamiento a largo plazo), los capacitores se convierten en circuitos abiertos y los inductores en circuitos cerrados.
